Into the Past

From as long as I can remember, I have always had an admiration for the past. I avoid thinking about my personal past but world history or human history, that I can go on deep dives for hours.

At the moment, I am gathering up inspiration for a novel that I might turn into a feature film one day. I want to write about perspectives and a different story line that is out of the ordinary that no one has ever done before. I want to tap into the story of the indigenous nations of the Americas. Turn a reality and express in in a science fiction genre that respects the history and their stories.

I am so drawn to history and learning about it. This project I am working on, I haven’t always been consistent with it, but that comes with other things in my life that I’ve been wanting to work on. Like this website for example.

I am manifesting consistency and practicing my daily discipline. I have to start somewhere and that’s why maybe this post is all over the place. I am okay with that, the more I practice my craft, the smoother it will get. I’ll probably end up reading this one day and laughing at the nonsense I composed during my lunch break at work.

I just need to remind myself that I want it. Like those before me, in the past, who have had a vision. I would like to hope they didn’t get it on the first try and. maybe not the second time. Sticking to it, well they made changes, both for themselves and civilization.

Who know’s what my legacy will be when I leave this earth.
